Xspc and EK

Might be a. Dumb question but can I mix and match certain waterblocks, because I like the xspc CPU block but I don't like the gpu block, can I use a EK gpu block instead?

No worries. You can mix and match the blocks and even fittings and radiators. I've done that several times.

 

Don't worry about asking these kind of questions. Everyone went through this phase.  :P

Copper and nickel can be mixed. It's mixing those with Aluminium that's bad.

You'll get galvanic corrosion wherein one of the metals will transfer to the other slowly corroding one of them. This usually happens with copper and aluminium. A nickel/chrome plated copper block will greatly prevent the corrosion.
