Was playing a game when it cut off. The lights to my ram were on and nothing else was ( cpu cooler, fans) the computer when I power on has a orange light on my motherboard that’s solid. No flashing or anything. (Asus motherboard) my specs are 3080ti, Asus b550m a wifi and a 5900x. Not a new build. Been using it for a while. It was overclocked using game mode for ryzen master.

Full specs would help here. An OC'd 3080 and an OC'd or PBO 5900X probably has a baseline gaming load of about 550W-650W, and that's before transient surge loads. I can almost certainly promise you this setup is subject to such shutdowns from overcurrent protection under transient surge loads in heavy gaming with anything less than about an 850W PSU. Which motherboard light is orange? EZ Debug LEDs are marked DRAM, CPU, VGA, and BOOT.

Orange LED is Power issue. I would have someone do a test of your PSU. If that dont work Pull the BIOS battery for a few mins and put it back in. By not work I mean if the PSU comedy back tested and fine. With luck it may re-train out of the error. Had it happen once. My electric company sucks... and a bad cycle of energy was put into the house. PC shut down and had no idea how to recover.

Orange led; power issue. Looks like we found the thing to look at first.

And @HiddenHydra
When posting specs, post the EXACT name and model of your hardware.
Now its like saying yeah fix my car, and the mechanic needs specific parts for it and you just say its a red Toyota.
Might sound harsh, but for anyone not you its kinda useless.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!
I'm just helping YOU to help YOURSELF!
(The more info you give the easier it is for others to help you out!)

I think this is one very good reason for everyone to have a UPS. They're not just for power failures, many can serve as line conditioners as well.
