PC freezes when playing certain games

I've been having this problem on and off for about 1 to 2 years, after about 5 to 10 minutes of playing f1, eFootball or shatterline the screen freezes but I can still hear everything and people can still hear me in discord. I've tried following a youtube video that I found and it worked for about half an hour but after that, the problem came back.

PS: the only overclock that I have is docp

ryzen 5 2600x
g.skill ripjaws 26g 3200gb
rtx 2060
650w 80+bronze psu

After looking around I discovered that the cause of my problem was my wallpaper engine
