Yes, its not really much point in planning too much now if aren't buying until next year anyway. Its of course usefull to familiarize yourself with different products, but there will be new generation products in all main categories this fall from AMD, Nvidia and Intel. So prices on outgoing generation may drop quite a bit, so even if you go for current gen. you may afford to get higher tier components.

The components you have picked is solid and well balanced however. You can also consider something like the 6700XT in stead of the 3060TI

Don't even bother waiting for zen 4.  The 7600x is gonna be $300 on launch for 15% better single core performance.  With the 5600 being literally half the price while being a little slower but still more than fast enough and DDR5 RAM being more than twice as expensive it's not worth it.

It's worth refreshing your knowledge.  Newer AMD GPUs are irrecognizable from their products not even 4 years ago.  RDNA2 is an extremely efficient architecture, and regardless of the brand, framerate is framerate and the 6700xt is going for about $100 less than the 3060ti while being consistently faster in everything and having an extra 4GB of VRAM.  I won both nVidia and AMD GPUs and I cant tell you right now that there's really nothing to worry about with either, but the current version of the Radeon Adrenaline driver app is actually a lot nicer to configure and has more features than the nVidia one.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

As i said my only concern regarding AMD GPU's is the fact im not as familiar with their gpus and all that stuff, but obviously when the time comes i will look for the best option
