You must first install the Java Runtime Environment on your PC. Go to Java.com and select "do I have java?" and download the latest recommended JRE. That will solve your problem.

I've done that but it still doesn't let me open eclipse :(

Try opening the file path mentioned in the error. If you do not find "jawav.exe", then use Revo Uninstaller to first uninstall Eclipse and all related registry entries and then uninstall Java. Restart your PC and reinstall Java first and Eclipse second.

I have never come across similar situation before. If you still can't open eclipse ~ try running the NetBeans IDE.

im guessing you have the 64 bit version? try getting the 32bit aswell, or vice versa
