So my system is for some reason taking up 8.1 gigs of hardware reserved memory. I tried reseating the ram, swapping them, only using one or the other, and nothing worked. So I just cleared the cmos. But after doing that, my bios looks like this. Whenever I highlight one of the options and press enter, it just dims everything. Pressing enter two times on M-Flash just restarts the system, and brings me to a completely blank screen. If I press the enter keys and enter, it just turns off the PC. What do I do? The motherboard is an MSI x470 Gaming Plus.

All I ever do at this point is play Destiny 2.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's kinda sad...

You got an iGP?  IGPs use system memory instead of their own memory so they reserve some it can be automatic or manual.  If a bunch of memory was reserved for the gpu it comes out of the total.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

It does not.  Windows still has the option perhaps though.
