It probably depends on your laptop.

Some laptops have a Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth chip in the form of a M.2 2230. In this case you should be able to put it in a desktop with a compatible M.2 Slot

If it's an older mini pcie type card it may require a pcie to mini pcie card to be able to get it working.聽

There's also a chance that it's directly soldered to the Motherboard in which case it may be easier to just purchase a pcie or M.2 wireless card.

They make adapters that let you put a laptop mini PCIe card into a desktop PCIe slot. You would need one that also supplies external antennas, since laptops have wires embedded in the screen bezel as their wireless antennas.

A USB Bluetooth adapter would be cheaper and easier.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
