750D case help..

Go to solution Solved by TheNinjaNextDor,

ok so let me get this straight... two SP 140 fans in the front, two SP 140 fans at the top of the rad, one AF 140 fan at the back for exhaust?? should i add any more fans?? like another at the top? or two at the bottom were the drive cages went?

Yep.

Front: 2 intake fans

Top: two exhaust fans

Rear: one intake or exhaust

Hello everyone i have a series of question i would like to ask you guys and gals.

I recently did my first build and i had bought the corsair 750D case.. The only problem is i want to add more/better fans to the case i was planning on going with the corsair fans. Why because they look good and perform well.

Now the only problem is i would like to know what you guys recommend for the fan layout of the case???

I was thinking two 140mm sp fans for front intake and one 140 af fan for rear..

Im currently using the swiftech h220 cpu cooler with rad.. I have no clue what kind of configuration i should do with the rad..

Also i have two spots at the bottom of the case where the drive cages were located i removed them and put the covers there for now i was wondering if i should put any fans at the bottom for intake or exhaust??

Every bit of feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

@TheNinjaNextDor Might be able to help you, he has fully watercooled in the case so I'm sure he knows the best fan configurations.

As for the H220, it doesn't matter whether you do push or pull or push and pull, you won't see much performance difference. Putting the fans in pull will reduce dust on the radiator I think though.

Put the H220 at the top with a single set of fans pushing air through it at the top, a single back exhaust fan and dual 120s or 140s bringing air into the case from the front. Flipping the back from improves temps, but brings more dust in.

For the rad SP is better, but for the exhaust/front intake AF is better.

No problem!

yea i was planning oin doing the sp for the rad.

for the front intake why use af series? when the 750D case has that front panel cover that doesn't really allow airflow.

It doesn't matter too much either way, the AF fan just don't direct the air as well as the SP ones. That covers more area with the flowing air. Either way they will intake ~the same amount.
