Transfer from m.2 gen4 to usb device crashes at 50% --->TOO FAST??

trying to transfer 12GB of video files.

from laptop with USB cable 3.1 using an USB storage device with an M.2 gen 4 SSD. Both SSDs on the laptop is gen 4

stuck like ffffffff on 50%.

i get Error 0x8007045D. the request could not be performed because of an I/0 device error.

stuck after searching google for clues

yes it worked properly on other laptops that has m.2 gen 3 SSDs. nearly solved using a slower USB port only its transfering too slow at 30MB/s.

Could be its getting too hot
