Hello, after weeks and many many hours of research and ebay/amazon/websites shopping i finally found a cheapish GREAT deal on ebay. heres the link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/295170823588. i am planning to upgrade the ram to 16gb. The gpu is slightly outdated but still fine. I am not sure how the "Coolermaster Masterliquid" $50 liquid cooler will work on the Rhyzen 9 3900x. Please comment any suggestions below. Will this cooler be sufficent? i plan on mainly using this for Light-Medium gaming and some visual studio or something in the future.

Thanks.

Pretty insane deal. Looks like it's sold already.

Cooler would be fine, maybe not for Full time rendering with unlocked power limits but for gaming no problem.

I bought it. it originally started as $900 but slowly decreased and i kept an eye on it... until one day it went doen to 429 and BOOM i bought it 🙂 this is my first pc ever.

Oh ok. The 120mm masterliquid is not going to do well at all.

What case is that its an itx but looks very very very constrained and crappy airflow.

I do believe a cooler if not case swap might be needed. Or casemod.

What psu is in it?

After having a closer look you might wanna add a LOT more airflow as a b350 pro vdh board does not handle things over 6 core super well let alone a 12 core cpu. Its vrms get really really hot. An arctic liquid freezer with the vrm fan would actually ve great but youd need at least the 280mm for that cooler

Entirelt depends on the case but the cooler is simply put inadequate. I currently have a 3900x (my old one) with an ak420 cooler and it gets toasty in a fan loaded up 500dx case.

That ak420 is basically better than every single 120/140mm aio out there too.

It looks to be a ml120 which is about as low end as you can go for a 120mm aio.

It can work but it will be toasty and as far as I can see this case is bottom air in only

The case is an In Win 101. I tryed to get the pc working but i couldnt get anything on the moniter. i am ordering an Dvi to HDMI adapter and hopefully it will work 🙂

Why a dvi adapter?

That gpu has hdmi

Did you plug in to the gpu and not the motherboard?

That case is fine its not the best but put some intake fans on the side and makr sure the fans on the bottom are intakr too. Then just let it blast air out the back.

That aio will also benefit from being an intake most likely so moving it to the top side mount would be a good idea

But first of course see if it works
