Wish me luck

Go to solution Solved by Ryuikko,

I'd just go with ddr4/b660 version of that board since 5200 cl40 isn't that fast to begin with and you'd probbaly have to run it in gear 2 with a locked cpu.

About what id reccommend instead

Same cpu since it's a fine choice for gaming

Cheap cooler since the 12400f dosent run that hot

Same board but b660

Cheapest kit of 32gb ram, but I'm sure 16gb is enough for gaming

Cheaper 2tb storage

6800xt which should outperfrom the 3070ti

Same case and a cheaper psu that's still good. Iirc the rme is a slighly downgraded rmx that got released pretty recently, though the fractal design is tier A so it's a fine choice instead

Budget (including currency):

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FFXV, FFVII, Tomb Raider, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Kena Bridge of Spirits, Don't Starve Together

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

What do you think about this build? I also considered 12600k with noctua u12a cpu cooler, but it would cost me 2000 NOK more.

My friend wants me to go with 12600k with water cooling, but water cooling just feels like extra work for me as I'm a fresh noob to building. I also heard you might have to change the water cooler after some years.

I plan on using 2 of the fans as front intake and one as rear exhaust.

Which fans do you recommend? Or is it ok to stick with only the 2 stock fans included?

Just get 2 of these:

https://no.pcpartpicker.com/product/rvWBD3/arctic-p12-pst-563-cfm-120-mm-fan-acfan00134a

They're quiet and move a ton of air.  You'll never be able to tell the difference.  The two fans included are corsair fans and they're good to.

The two included fans will give you 3 on the front and one on the exhaust, and heat will easily escape through the top with the positive internal pressure generated by the 3 in the front.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.
