So I have been offered a LG29EB93-P for £270 ($450), Do you think its worth it? It is second hand and I currently have an LG IPS234 23", after linus's video on how nice the 21:9 ratio is, I'm really tempted. SO what do you guys think?

Yeah I'm really tempted but I just know know if its worth it because for the money I could go sli.

Are you dissatisfied with your current monitor? Could you spend the money elsewhere that would be more useful? Does this sort of stuff matter at all to you?

 

If your answer is 'yes', 'no' and 'no' to those, then yeah. Go for it. It's a pretty neat monitor.

I am not sure but i think that if you were to get the monitor your 660ti might have a problem driving the display at higher settings in some games

Yeah that's a good point, but I already play all games I own at ultra at 60+ frames (other than ARMA 3 and crisis) so if it means changing the graphics down to very high in some games then I think it'll be worth it.

You can clearly spare the cash and live with it if you're considering it. I'd say go for it. It's a nice setup that few people have. You can upgrade whatever else you have in mind later. Monitors last a long time :)
