Quick Boot Question

My system is 6 years old now.

 

Recently on boot up the ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger motherboard will occasionally hang at A2 (IDE Detect); forcing me to power cycle.

 

What do you think might cause this intermittent problem?

 

I have a Samsung 850 EVO SSD boot drive and two Wester Digital data drives.

 

Recently replaced Corsair CPU Water Cooler (pump needed cleaning, decided to replace cause 6YO).

Recently replaced NVidia video card (possibly needed new heat pads, decided to upgrade it).
