Budget (including currency): 2700 EUR

Country: Latvia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly games at 1440p

Hello! Currently I have such configuration:

AMD, Ryzen 7 5700X (8C/16T, 3,40 GHz, 32MB Cache, 65W) - Price: € 310,00
Asus, ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING - Price: € 175,00
Be Quiet, Pure Base 500 FX - Price: € 175,00
Be Quiet, PURE LOOP 2 FX 240mm - Price: € 115,00
Samsung, 970 EVO Plus, 1TB, NVMe M.2 - Price: € 140,00
Corsair, RM850 (2021), 850W, 80PLUS Gold - Price: € 174,00
Corsair, Vengeance RGB PRO TUF Gaming Edition, 32GB, DDR4, 3200MHz, CL16, Kit of 2 - Price: € 143,00
Palit GeForce RTX 3090, GDDR6X 24GB, GameRock - Price: € 1430,00
Total with the delivery: € 2665,99
Went for AM4 as unfortunately the Intel Core i7-12700KF is 491,52 € and Intel Core i7-12700K is 504,01 €, plus the Z690 start from 300EUR
It is silly but in my region price for 3080 I originally wanted starts from 1300 EUR.
Maybe you will have any advise if all will be compatible and will not run unstable or make bottlenecks.

1430eur for a 3090 is a scam. Sure the prices have come down from 2500eur for one but 1430eur is still unjustifiable, especially if you're just planning on playing at 1440p. A 6700XT will get you just fine playing at 1440p ultra 60+fps for just about all titles or if you really want to spend extra get a 6800XT for 850eur that is a monster.

For gaming an Intel i5 12400 will do you just fine, 12600K if you really want to push it. Nothing wrong with a 5700X but if you're just planning on gaming it's not the best "bang for buck."

Pure base 500 for 175eur is also a scam. 1a is already overpriced and it's "only" 116eur.

Other than that, a solid build.

Did you price the i5-12600k?

An RTX 3070 Ti should offer decent 1440 gaming.

Build is okay, but many parts overpriced

Can't get a Latvian pcp list but look at a German one

3090 is a waste of money unless you do stuff that really needs the 24GB VRAM, the sweet hi end spot is now the 3080 12GB for 850EUR

You should rather get a 360 or 280 AIO, they fit front of a PB500 iirc

End up less than 2000EUR, or now you could look at an Intel i7 build 🙂

Also just realised you've selected a 240mm AIO.

Don't. No point in a 240mm AIO as all decent air coolers outperform them while costing less. If you want an AIO for the looks don't get anything less than a 360mm. Sometimes a 280mm is enough if you're space restricted.

AK620 is a great alternative, costs less and will perform better.

I think Finland would be more representative of stock and price inflation.

That being said there are people who buy straight from Germany and get it shipped, of course then shipping costs a ton and far more likely to be damaged in the process.

I don't think Germany to Latvia shipping would be that expensive, I'm in France and if I look at Amazon US to ship a $1200 prebuilt to France it's $100 only...

Yea, you have it so cheap because of economies of scale. The more population you have the cheaper something gets. France alone has like 4 cities with more people than Latvia. Of course it's not a direct comparison because from US to France you'll get your stuff shipped in mass bulk making it cheaper. Ship or Plane. Most stuff to the Baltics usually is still driven to with lorries. There's a lot of factors but in general whatever cost an X amount in France, in the Baltics it'll usually cost 25-300% more.

Thanks for the info and great advised in the end I think will go with This with 3080 and a 12700KF, Unfortunately I have no faith in RX cards, and just cant make myself to pick one. Yes, some parts are overpriced but we got used to it, and I am afraid to order something from other courtiers as here they will prebuild it for me and send it with their courier. Also I can just return any part for any reason in 14 day period.

Looking at the huuuuge overprice you got, I've found a German SI prebuilt with same specs for ... 1700EUR (on discount sale) !!

Even with 300EUR shipping you'll gain 600EUR !!! 🙂

You might price out an i7-12700 and a B660 motherboard. With good cooling an open power limits, it can come within a few percent of a stock i7-12700K.

Try Capital. When I visited their store their pricing was decently competitive. Not sure how their return policy and customer care is like because at the time Baltic Data had a better deal on.

Hmmm... both are selling mainly 10 and 11th gen PC's with 12th gen being rare.
