First PC build need help and tips

Go to solution Solved by Ryuikko,

Nothing wrong with it per se, but you can make a better one like this

About what id reccommend

https://no.pcpartpicker.com/list/YzpWmr

The 12400f and 5600x perfrom pretty simairly with the 12400f edging the 5600 in single core workloads

Cheap cooler to keep the cpu cool

Good board for the price

Cheapest kit of 16gb ram

Good 1tb storage

3080 that's surprisingly cheap since it's a "premium" card, and will perfrom better than a 3070ti

Nice case and a good 850 watt psu

Edit* just saw you needed wifi/ monitor so adjusted list accordingly

Budget (including currency): Max 25000 NOK

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I'm making a gaming PC.

Are there any items I don't need? Do I need that heat sink item for the ssd?

Any tips?

I appreciate all help and suggestions. ❤️

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adventure games, for instance, Tomb Raider, Kena. Role-playing games like Final Fantasy. Also minecraft, don't starve, league of legends... If you know any games I'd probably like based on my likes, please let me know. 🙂

I want a PC as I only have a gaming laptop now and it has it's limits with it's gtx 1650 ti max-q. I'm planning on getting a 1440p screen. I added one to my pcpartpicker below. It's a VA monitor because I've heard it's better for the eyes (idk). If you know cheaper monitors that perform well, please let me know.

Is it ok?

I intend to build my first ever PC and need something easy. I got inspiration for this build through Linus Tech Tips using parts Linus' used. This will hopefully make it easier for me when I attempt to build it while watching his PC building guides. The motherboard and graphics card are currently on discount on the Norwegian website I'll use (komplett.no) so I think I'll use those (idk?).

I don't understand everything yet. Is my build even compatible? Is the Phanteks case too small for a gpu with 3 fans? I've been also looking at the Corsair 4000D but it was more expensive and I don't know if it's really worth it.

I appreciate all help and suggestions. ❤️

Your list is ok, but you could improve it. Your 5600x comes with a cooler, so you don't really need the noctua unless you really want it. the stock cooler will work fine for that cpu. the 850w power supply is a little overkill, you could probably get away with a good 650w. Your case is okay, the GPU should fit fine, just make sure to pick up some decent fans to go with it. I have a corsair 4000D and its a fantastic case, but your case will work fine. Try to get the 4000D airflow if you decide to go that way and its available, that's the one with the mesh front panel. With the money you save on the cooler, you might want to get a 2tb HDD from seagate or WD, if you don't have one already. 1TB of storage won't go very far. For the ram, you could go cheaper and get a 2x8gb 3200 kit, 3600 won't make that much of a difference. The only other thing I can think of is the wifi card. If you have wired internet, you really don't need to bother with it.

Hopefully that helps and saves you a bit of money. Good luck with your build.
