Ah i figured it out, i just had to run the screenshot program as admin, sharex seems to be more accurate than greenshot in my tests.

Anyone know a way to take screenshots in game? preferable not through steam? or the nvidia program? 

I usually use greenshot or sharex but those dont seem to work in some games im trying to play; dishonored 2, Baldur's gate dark alliance 2.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

PrtScr then Ctrl-V in paint?

Make sure you've completely exited out of Greenshot and ShareX before using it as they both like to bind themselves to that key.

Thanks, that seems to work for both games. It's a little inefficient though, i hope there's another option tbh
