Need help troubleshooting

Exerf79

I'm sorry if I don't explain myself very well,  english is not my first language.

My specs are the following:

CPU: AMD Athlon 3000g with vega radeon graphics

GPU: none

Motherboard: Gigabyte A3020M-SH2

RAM: Kingston fury 1x8gb DDR4

Power supply: AC-925235_1

HDD: Western digital WD10EURX-63UY4Y0 (1TB)

I have installed everything, everything is connected and it is connected to my monitor via VGA, when I power my pc on, the cpu fan spins, my RGB mouse and keyboard turn on, but the leds in font of the case won't turn on, and nothing appears on the monitor, i have tried to unplug and plug every cable, checked the cpu and its cooler, the power suppy to be on, and the monitor powered on, honestly I have no idea what's happening and would appreciate if someone can help me.

(Attached images of the build "running" and my monitor not showing anything)

Do you know what bios the motherboard came with? You need at least F40 to be able to run a 3000G.

Sometimes theres a sticker somewhere on the board indicating the version.

Unfortunately you'll need another (older) cpu to update the bios with.

If the front LED isn't lighting up it could just be the 'pwr led'  front panel connections are connected wrong. That and the 'hdd led' need to be connected in the right polarity (+ and -)

Whether this would have any affect on the boot/display issue I'm not sure.

I'm sorry, but the picture of the PC is horrible. Could you take another with much more lighting????

Cause it appears as though the board is just floating in the case?. I don't see any screw heads. I'd check the standoff placement and be sure none are contacting the back of the board.

I'm going to guess that this A320 motherboard does not have the BIOS required for this 3000 series CPU, unless the box for the motherboard says otherwise.

To fix this, your can RMA to gigabyte and have them update it, or use an older CPU to flash (if a friend if yours or a local shop has one to borrow)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
