It could potentially be that I’ve switched from a nvidia gpu to an amd one.

Did you uninstall/wipe/DDU the nVidia drivers first before putting the 6600XT into your system?

I remember helping a friend troubleshoot their GTX 760 (from 2016?). I was running an AMD GPU at the time. Getting the GTX 760 running was not a problem. It was then trying to get my AMD card working properly again after the fact. Leftover nVidia driver files was the problem -- even after going through the nVidia/ Windows uninstall process.

Also, do you get a display during POST / or can you see the BIOS menu?

Im asking because at this stage during boot-up, drivers are not loaded yet. If you get an image on screen, then the card is probably not faulty.
