Blue snowball question

I dont have much room on my desk so I will have to be 6 inches to a foot and a half away from the mic. Will it pick my voice up fine? Will it work if it is facing the side of my mouth? Also, is it a good long lasting mic?

I have one and in my experience you have to be about 6-10 inches away for good audio quality/noise levels as long as you don't speak quiet/loud

You'll want to get a pop filter if you're that close.

Well in OBS (I use that to livestream) I can change the gain. Will it sound clear if I up the gain a bit?

You will be louder, but so will everything around you. Your audience will hear more background noises because you turned up the volume of the microphone.

My pc isn't very loud. When I watch streams I dont mind mouse and keyboard noises (IDk if other people do though)

You could setup voice detection, It'll take some experimenting but you could get it to only pickup your voice, and not mouse/keyboard sounds.

Hm never thought of that. That is nice. Also Im buying a refurbished one of ebay for 40 dollars. IS that a good deal?

Not really. A new one is like $50-$55.

Grab a snowball ICE then. The build is not as nice but the sound quality is the same. It's $40.
