so ive got a 800D, K90, and Force GT 90GB

Corsair has never disapointed with awesome stuff, and they some how make their bad ass hardware even better, K95 looks sick, the 900D is pure sex, and my Force GT was what they send me after my Nova series 64GB SSD drive died after 2 years, the 64 gig SSD that i bought for 175 bucks new, was replaced with a 90 GB SATA3 model, that alone blew me away. usualy when i have to RMA something back to a company they are pretty strict about replacing the item with a new item that is very near to the spec sent in.

i love you Corsair, and i can not wait to get my hands on a set of SP2500 and beast sound card

Well not everyone has had such good luck with corsair products. I have a 650D which i think is fantastic however the built in fan controller fried a week after I got it and the replacement one fried too. I had a set of vengeance 1500's that the sound card went 3 months after I bought them. and now I am having serious issues with my K90. I also have an H70 that came with fans that were DOA. thankfully I'm smart enough to use aftermarket fans. Some people just have rotten luck, I guess I'm one of them :/

I do like Corsair products. I have owned a handful of them, and still own a few things from them. Obviously there is the balance of how good of a product a company can deliver vs how much it costs. And Corsair has expanded a lot over the last 2 or 3 years and it just feels like a lot of their products are just 90% there. Though I will admit some of my complaints have to do with personal preference, and not specifically quality of product.

One major thing that kills me is their keyboards. I have a K90 for about a week before I had to return it. I absolutely loved the aluminum panel, and the feel of the keycaps were amazing. But they took a huge dump by making the a bunch of the keys rubber dome. But the biggest thing that I couldn't get used to were the Cherry MX Red switches. Just way too sensitive for me and I was constantly mistyping and hitting wrong keys. Their two new keyboards look sick and they actually made all the keys mechanical, which is progress. But again, they use Cherry MX Reds, just blows my mind. If Corsair released their K70 keyboard in different switches, and different backlighting (i hate red light) then I think they would hit a much larger market. I would say outside of their lighting and switches they have some of the best build quality of the major keyboards on the market, and at a reasonable price.

I absolutely can't comprehend their headset decisions. I would absolutely never purchase any of the headsets that they have simply because they are all USB devices. Anybody that has a dedicated sound card has absolutely no use for their headsets.

Their RAM is obviously solid. I have 16GB of Vengeance LP and love them. I would really love to get some Dominator Platinums just because they looks absolutely gorgeous. Note, white led, love it.

I think they took one step forward and one step back with their AIO water coolers. I had the H80, which had to be RMAd and replaced with the H80i. I would definitely prefer the H80. Corsair Link is absolutely worthless software. The thicker tubes theoretically offer better cooling performance but they are much bulkier than the previous tubing and it was notable more difficult to install compared to the H80.

I think Corsairs strongest areas are cases and PSUs. Obviously their PSUs are just branded by them, but most, if not all, of their units are made by quality manufacturers. My biggest regret with my brothers build I did for him years ago with an i7-920 was not getting the HX750. I currently have the Corsair AX850 and love it. I also had a 300R up until a month ago or so. My Fractal Design Define R4 is so much nicer of a case, but it was a bit more expensive, and totally worth that cost, IMO. I think the 200R and 300R are great cases at a lower price point, and great for somebody new to building computers if they don't have a large enough budget to fit a $100 case.

I have kind of gone on a long rant now, sorry. I really do like Corsair. Some of their products are absolutely great. Some of them have some faults. Most of the time I wouldn't care about problems with products but I think because I do like Corsair it makes me that much more frustrated when some of their products don't meet the standards that most of us come to expect from them.

*edit*

I guess the Corsair Vengeance 1300 is a higher end headset use analog input to work with a sound card.

what kind of power supply do you have? yes you might have gotten 2 bad fan controllers, or maybe their fan controller itself is faulty, but it sounds like a powersupply issue.

ive never understood anyone who buys ANY AIO water cooler. they just do not perform like the real thing, in most situations a heatsink thats anywhere from 10-30 dollars less will do better than the AIO.

they just seem novilty to me.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, honestly the SP2500 aren't too good. There are better options for the same price for speakers.

good to know, thanks. i see they are on sale for the 2nd time in 2 months by about 60 dollars on newehhhh....online retailer :)  i have a feeling corsair will be comming out with a new version.

So this was just a rant?

more of a rave ;)

They generally make some good products, but their H100i has quite a few issues with its LEDs, and their Survivor Stealth is unnecessarily bulky and has a poor price to performance ratio. Their 600T doesn't support 25mm fans in the front, and their SSDs look cheap.

I got a 25mm fan to fit into the front my 600T remove the HDD cages and the front panel takes 2 mins and your set also don't for get to remove the HDD cage black plastic box that the HDD drives sit on you will have to problems installing a 200mm/25mm fan there. Im using a bit phoenix pro 200mm fan

I was told that that was an issue, though it might have been with the top having a 200mm 25mm thick fan.

Fan Mod notch cut out very easy to do.

They must have meant the front with the cages in. If you plan on moving your system around and have more than three drives though, not having all the cages can be a bit of a problem.

All I can say Is that I've never had any issues with anything from Corsair. Ok, there was one time I was building a system for someone and one of the sticks of Corsair RAM was defective but I had 2 so I was able to use 1 while I saited for the replacement which they were very fast about sending. I didnt even have to pay any shipping costs.

Awesome, it sounded like a nightmare when the reviewers mentioned it. Even still though, I'm disappointed with my H100i especially because its LED at its white color setting actually turns out as a yellow color, and right now the firmware is so glitchy that it's green at that same setting.

You should call them up I hear they have a great customer service department.

Here it is with the HDD cage installed.

The PSU is a coolermaster 1000W 80+ bronze. I know it's not the issue because I have seen dozens of posts about the faulty fan controller.
