 I have a Zoostorm L12 computer and when i turned it on it goes past the ASUS logo (it has a ASUS motherboard) it shows the loading circle and then goes blank, before it goes blank it flashes something like "me downgrade failed" I googled it and found that it is a problem with the BIOS I went onto ASUS's website and download there newest BIOS and tried to update it but every time it said "Selected file is not a proper BIOS." How do I fix it (I tried most of the versions.)

What ASUS motherboard model do you have?

You don't just go an grab a random ASUS BIOS file.

 

When you download the BIOS fie, it is usually contained in a compressed / .ZIP file.

You need to unzip is first.

 

Usually don't recommend flashing the BIOS through the Operating System (OS).

Better (in my opinion, SAFER) to copy the BIOS file onto a blank USB stick, and update it within the UEFI / BIOS menu.

I have an Asus H110M-R I updated the BIOS (through the BIOS) and I still have the problem that it shows the ASUS logo and then boots into Windows and shows the loading sign and then goes blank. The back light is still on and when I press Win+Ctrl+Shift+B it goes black and then back to a black screen (with the back light on.)
