Hi

I have an iPad I want to connect to my laptop so I can use VNC on the iPad to use as a secondary monitor. I have setup the VNC part and that is working on my local network over WiFi. But I want to be able to use it when I am offline and at school etc. So what I want is to use a usb cable (usb-c to lightning) to connect my iPad via wired network. For this I would need to setup a network interface on my laptop over USB so my iPad can connect to it. Does anyone here know how to do this? I have googled but not found anything that helped.

I use Fedora linux 36 with i3wm.

iPad 10.2 (2021)
