What do you mean? Can you screen shot it?

This is what I get on W11 with Alt+Tab

Do you mean the background is just black without the frosted glass effect over what's currently in focus?

My bad didn't really know how to describe it, but yeah it's this frosted glass effect that I want to get rid of. Looked around on youtube and didn't really find anything that works.

Now I'm not sure if you WANT a black screen or not since you contradicted yourself but regardless... 😄

What I have is default so I am assuming you want to get rid of it.

In which case this could work but I haven't tried so it may not work.

Create a folder on desktop and name it:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Then open it and go to:

Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows

then you get this window where you have some control over some stuff so maybe that will do the trick

Disabled everything and enabled everything still didn't remove the glass effect.

I've only found this one option

which does not result in the black box but it does remove the frosted glass effect from Alt+Tab

Is it really that hard?

Why go through massive hoops?

Windows 11 next version update has Alt+Tab updated to this:

my W11 start search is completely broken so I dont use it. I have to reinstall the system but Im too lazy. I have to do workarounds all the time instead so I didnt know its there. Also I would have to know what to search for in the first place but I didnt until I saw it in the godmode 😄
