Game start up freezing

Not sure if this is the right section, but it might be a GPU problem.

When playing Need For Speed: World, it freezes/stutters at the start. This is after I've joined into free roam, and I'm moving around. After about sixty seconds, everything is fine. Could this be a problem with my 650 Ti Boost? Or is it just a slow hard drive? I'm playing on Maximum graphics, and when I get going I have no issues with lagging.

take a look at your gpu usage while in game, its possible but unlikely your pushing that card a touch to hard i dont know what kind of hardware nfs world requires as ive never played it but if your gpu usage isnt maxing out then it may just be taking a moment to load and cache textures and what not

Your gpu has to write all of the pixels onto the screen, its probably just that initial point, it might be memory clockspeed?
