New user here with a simple question. Hello!

Might stick around here, i do love me some techy stuff and i've been a viewer of LTT for a long time. Maybe one can find behind-the-scenes videos of Linus dropping gear over here, always a hoot.


The question i have: I saw a video on LTT a while back where they were talking about a specific windows 7 installation. Called something that meant something like "streamlining something to make it better" in the name. 

Trying to install a tiny (wasn't tiny7) win7 on a Lenovo Ideapad miix made for win 10 somehow, after ubuntu and some other distros refuses to play nice with my soundcard.

Any ideas what it might be? 


I still have the problem of setting up windows 7 in UEFI mode to deal with, but i've seen that there is a lot of folks talking about that online. Shouldn't be a problem, right?...

if the laptop has m.2 it wont work... ask how i know... anyway hi

 

if i remember right i came on hear when i built my pc and need a question about something dont remember what it was thow. i was a long time linus fan too until a point...
