When I turn my (few week old) system on, I get the single motherboard beep, to show everything is fine, but then the screen it just blank. I cannot log in, or enter the bios, it is just blank with no text. I had been troubleshooting this for a day or so, and no luck - then, for some reason, I came back to it the next day, turned it on (one last try) before taking it to a PC repair shop, and it booted into windows. All the hardware was working, everything was recognised, as if nothing had happened. I then turned it off for an hour or so after using it, came back to it later, and it started not booting, again.

I have no idea why it would work, then not work, then work, then stop working. Could this be down to a faulty part, because I don't understand how it could just start working again? Any help at all would be amazing, things I am considering are clearing the CMOS and perhaps testing RAM sticks and the GPU.

*Please note, if the system does manage to boot into windows, it is as if nothing is wrong, there is no sign of error, or any hardware disfunctioning.

Clearing the CMOS is a good place to start. Sometimes the system just need to be reset. Other then that, I would recommend making sure all the power cables are in securely.
