I swapped out interfaces recently from an Eleven Rack to an Audient iD44 and I now get very choppy audio in Discord on MacOS. Unfortunately when researching the solution I came across this:

https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040580711-Audio-Interface-Issues-on-macOS

This article says they have a problem implementing WebRTC. However the article is over 2 years old! I really like discord's platform but this suddenly makes using Discord and expensive proposition to me since I have to buy new hardware that I'd use only for Discord.

Does anyone out there know if any progress will be made on this? Before I found this issue I had been thinking Discord was the best of its kind out there. It's unfortunate

Additionally, their web browser interface works flawlessly for me in Firefox on MacOS. Is this something they could bring to the desktop app? I do need the push-to-talk feature which is the only thing the web interface is lacking. Alternatively if anyone from Discord is reading this perhaps a push-to-talk helper app could be used instead of the desktop app? Or maybe encapsulate the web app into a desktop app?

Thanks for reading
