2070 super usage in gta 5

I have a 2070 super with a r5 2600, when I play gta my gpu is around 40-55% usage with 50-80 fps. Almost all ther games around around 90-100 usage. Why can’t I get the gpu to full usage ?

GTA V is pretty cpu bound especially if you have settings like draw distances turned way up. It also cares way more about single core performance than how many cores and threads you have, being a game from 2013 ported to PC in 2015 and R5 2600 isn't great in single core performance. It has virtually the same Passmark CPU single thread score as the i5-4690 from 2014. GTA V basically hits the weak spot of your 2600 without making very good use of its strong point, namely the core and thread count. You gotta remember GTA V is essentially an XBox 360 game and those games weren't written to parallelize well across a lot of cores.
