I am in the market for a powerful gaming/productivity pc.

I have little experience in pc building.

Could someone recommend me a list

Budget (including currency): $1500

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Forza Horizon 5 1440p, Apex Legends 1440p, Valorant 1440p, Blender, Premier Pro, School Work,

Thanks

Order a pre-build from a reputable source. Easiest way to obtain a decent gaming rig w/o having to scour the interweb for parts et all. As you lack experience, open the case and see how they've done the job: what parts they choose, how they mounted stuff, etc. Great learning tool, actually, besides being a functional gaming PC 😉

OK, I see. Well, head over to the pcpartpicker website and start playing with components until you find a combo that suits your budget and other requirements. Order the parts, wait however long for it to arrive and follow the LTT PC build guide published earlier this year. It was made with people like you in mind, so pretty educational.

At this price point, you can get solid performance, or solid aesthetics. Not really both. Personally, I think that performance is more important, so that is what I optimized this list for.

Thanks. this list is really helpful. I'll try to tweak this list for my likings

Looks fine to me. Keep in mind the warning stated on that page about BIOS compatibility of the CPU.

Your budget allows some expansion:

1) upgrade the NVMe drive to a 1TB model, they're only slightly more expensive (around 110-120 USD) for twice the capacity

2) add a HDD for storage: personal files, games, video, etc. A 4 or even 8TB model should fit in your remaining budget

Good luck and enjoy building it!

I'd get the 12700f and b660  instead. Beats it pretty handily in every aspect

I made this list based on your recommendations:

I just need final thoughts before I buyvthe parts
