Budget (including currency): $2000 USD (not including monitor and peripherals)

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: general school/work stuff, games like assetto corsa, minecraft, forza horizon, civ 6, flight sim; also just seeing high numbers is satisfying...haha...

Other details: interested in perhaps a new keyboard/mouse, and 1440p 144hz+ monitor suggestions would be helpful to get a general grasp of some high quality ones

put together a pcpartpicker list, just seeking any other optimizations I could do; seeing how the next gen graphics cards will most likely be even more power hungry than current gen, I think I might as well just purchase something now when prices are decent

I would change out that CPU cooler for a Noctua nhu-14s if not an nhd-15 at the minimum as lintels 12th gen runs extremely hot for the higher-end chips and no matter what anyone tries to tell you aio's have pumps that can and do fail quite often, and when they do its a whole new unit, unlike an air cooler where the only thing that can fail is the fan and those can always be replaced, .do not outperform heatsinks in terms of thermals in any way except for mounting stability and in some cases ram clearance which is only really a concern if you ship your pc around all the time. I would go ryzen 5000 for lower power consumption but considering you have a budget of 2000 dollars you probably don't care. love the value ram, it's a good value and shows people that you don't need crazy fast memory for everything. I'm not sure what's going on with replacing the ugly GPU fan but if it bothers you get a case without a window as I do so I can use whatever value ugly components I want and hide it behind a piece of metal 😄. the power supply looks good.  that case mesh front panel cannot be good for dust filtration and you have a case window so dust is going to be an eyesore, again, hide it behind a case with no side window if that bothers you, or if you must have a window get a case with some fan filters, not the biggest fan of hardware fan controllers, prefer it be controlled via temp sensors through software but hey its there. Noctua case fans are the best and they have some that aren't ugly for your side window case. as for a different case the one you chose is fine but not what i would go with personally.

It's a good build with maybe case fans lacking, not sure if any come with the case.

The real question is do you really need the hardware you've chosen. Here is an alternative that gets maybe at worst 10fps less, yet saves you some $500. Such high end hardware has diminishing returns, especially for someone who just wants to use their PC for not full-time needs.

The Arctic performs better than both of those Noctua coolers, so not sure why you think he should change it ?

The 12700F isn't going to run anywhere near as hot as say a 12900F/K.

The Arctic also has a 6 year warranty, so not really an issue. Most people would be looking to upgrade by then.
