Upgrading GPU

Go to solution Solved by Pixelfie,

If you can spend €625 you can get an RX 6800 which outperforms both by a lot.

For the cooler, the Arctic Freezer 34 eSports should be great for a 5600X.

Budget (~600€):

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly Gaming

Other details (already existing in the system:

- Prozessor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

- PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-650

- Case: Fractal Design Meshify S2

- Storage: Western Digital WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD 1TB

- RAM: G.Skill V black DIMM Kit 16GB

- Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk

- GPU AMD R290X

This was my first PC build. I built in summer 2021 hence the old GPU (got it from a friend for free).

As the prices are going down for the GPUs I would like to upgrade to a better GPU.

I was thinking NVIDIA RTX 3070 or 3060Ti.

I also want to upgrade the CPU cooler (and I know that it's installed side ways)

And at somepoint maye, also get some more RAM.

I'd be very thankful for some GPU tips. (RGB isn'tt a priority as i haven't got any in my case anyway)

Something like this could be a fair upgrade. One iffy thing though is on paper one should buy a whole new one set of RAM sticks as there could be differences within the same models made at different times but for an average consumer I don't think you'll run into issues unless you're trying to overclock and go beyond the rated XMP's:
