Help with deciding upgrade

Im thinking of upgrading my existing setup with a 3080 but should I upgrade something with it (can I do it gradually) (specs attached as image)

 

Budget: 1.400$ (10.000kr) or 1.800$ (13.000kr) at the absolute limit

 

Currency: Danish krone

 

Peripherals: 

Mouse: Rival 650

Keyboard: Apex M400

Headset: Arctis 9

Monitor: right now its a simple 1080 p 120 hrs ( I am think about getting a 160 hrz

 

Location: Denmark (Right above Germany)

 

Games: Some VR titels like Boneworks,

B & S, Half Life. I also play som PC games including ARK for the most part (there are others but its a mixed bag) (discord is also going to be used

 

I'm doing an upgrade becus my setup right now is lacking behind in most big titels, and now I want one that right above the medium. If needed I'm almost willing to "build a new one" just with the old case, RAM and SSD.

I'm not entirely sure but the 9400f is still most likely enough to run a 3080 without any noticeable bottleneck, Could be wrong though.

Only thing you'd have to upgrade is the psu to accommodate a 3080, somewhere around 850 watts will be fine.
