Cpu, ram, mobo combo.

Long story short, I bought the wrong speed ram, to go with my cpu. 

 

Ripjaws- 8gb x2, 3600mhz.

Intel i5 11500.

Asus tuf gaming z590 plus wifi. 

 

When I set the ram speed in the bios, I'm only stable up to 3066. The cpu is rated up to 3200.

 

Am I missing something in setting the increased ram speed?

Asus is apparently known for crappy RAM topology, and they're not very good about updating their RAM QVL lists either. I'm RMA'ing one of their B550 boards after running Ballistix at 3200 for just a few months, and I don't think this board is going back in my machine if / when it comes back.

I don't badmouth others' input, I'd appreciate others not badmouthing mine. *** More below ***
