About what id recommend

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CZg3gb

The 12700f since iirc cad is mainly cpu single core perfromance, but more cores will definitely last you longer and the 12700f isn't that much more than the 12600kf

Cheaper cooler with 90% of the perfromance of d15 for half the price

Top of the line b660 instead of a z690 since oc dosent net a lot of perfromance

Ram choices is an odd one here, but locked cpus really can't runt that fast of ram reliably so I went with rhw cheapest kit of 32gb ram

3080 which nets 4 extra gb of vram

Slightly cheaper case and cheaper psu.

With all of these changes you can fit a solid 1440p monitor into the budget since it's a waste to use a 3080 on 1080p

I just secured a nice 2160 monitor from my friend for my birthday which is soon, so that is no longer an issue. I’d like to keep the meshify because I like it’s looks and the ram because of my long trust for g.skill but do you think cl 18 would be good for my applications, because it’s a lot cheaper?

Switching the case back is fine since it's mostly personal preference, bud I'd recommend staying with 3200 cl16. Locked 12th gen Intel cpus have their vccsa voltages locked down so it's hard even running speeds like 3600 without having to switch to gear 2 which you don't want.
