If those are the games you plan to play, and the savings is significant, then the 3060 is definitely the way to go. A 3070 Ti would be overkill.

Have you also looked at the RX 6600 or 6600XT? They tend to be way cheaper than the 3060 but are of a similar performance tier.

If you aren't satisfied with a 6600XT, then you won't be happy with a 3060. The 6600XT is basically identical on average in terms of performance compared to the 3060. In War Thunder, it's actually a bit faster than the 3060 at 1440p.

However, I have a hard time believing that the 6600XT can't give you playable framerates with high settings for 1440p. What FPS are you targeting? What CPU do you have?

The 3060 (any model 3060) is not an upgrade over your 6600 XT. In some games it will be worse.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I don't think OP said they have a 6600 XT

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Yep my bad. Although I'm still confused by the person who popped in to say they had the 6600 XT because they shouldn't have to turn down settings for any of the games OP mentioned.

They'll all perform the same within margin of error, although the Phoenix is probably noisier.

The 6600/6600 XT are probably better buys than any of these cards but mindshare I guess.

i have a ryzen 7 3700x and a 144hz monitor, i do get between 80 and 120 fps but it’s slightly unstable and randomly drops to ~10
