Xbox One X technical problem

The game that I was playing, Red Dead Redemption, froze. I restarted after a severe power off. When it started up again, the game would continuously time out and return to the Home Screen. I attempted to quit the game and restart the Xbox. same outcome I tried Fortnite, a new game, and the same thing happened.

I soft-reset the factory. It won't load Fortnite. It will move to the start-up graphic before returning to the Home Screen.

If Fall Guys didn't play well, I would give up totally, but the mechanism appears to still be functional. Simply said, I can't find a solution for this particular problem online.

Anyone out there who can identify the issue and, if feasible, offer a solution?
