hi 

i am  following a tutorial on how to build a hand held  raspberry pi o w  based  machine  and i am setting  up  the  software. i have installed retro pi  and  i need  to change some  things in  the  config took but  i  cant find these  things. i was wondering where they  are as i have only  been  able  to  find over scan. 

 

i am using a pi modle  b+  to set it up as i dont want to  buy a lod of adapters to  attach a monitor and keybord

can you post an image of what you see in the advanced options screen? be aware that raspi-config can and will change depending on your version of raspbian and the raspberry pi board you're using. I've seen a few guides indicating that the option to enable SPI might be under interfacing rather than advanced. If it's not where you expect try checking the other menus.

 

if it comes to that you can manually edit these parameters in /boot/config.txt but it shouldn't be required.

One sec fr the screenshots but I just found the spi setting in interfacing so it might be different with which version of the software you installed?

Yeah, raspi-config is subject to constant change because new version of raspbian may have different parameters.
