Planning my first gaming PC build in since Vanilla WoW

Defaz

Budget (including currency): $2000 AUD (give or take $200)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Dota 2, Overwatch

Other details:

Hi all, i'm looking at building my first gaming PC since the PC I bought back when vanilla wow came out, as it's alittle....out dated. I won't be keeping any parts from my previous computer besides my monitors (2x Dell s2722qc), for those curious, the graphic card from my current PC is a GTS 450. I'm a graphic designer by day but i won't be using this machine for design as I use my work macbook pro. I've currently got a keychron keyboard and logitech g305 that i'll be keeping, but i might need a headset in future. The only games I'm currently playing is Dota 2 and Overwatch, but i would like to have ability there to play different games later if i want. I don't need anything 4K or VR.

I've put together a rough part list on AU pcpartpicker. I roughly looked at their excellent AMD gaming build but expanded on it slightly. I honestly have no clue about speed of RAM, motherboard compatibility or power usage. I'm hoping you guys might be able to help me out, tell me what i've done wrong, or what i should change.

Thank you all kindly!

The nh-d15 is overkill for the 5600x unless you plan on overclocking the crap out of it. But I think Australia has a warmer climate, it would be worth it if you have higher ambient temperatures. And the nh-d15 comes with thermal paste, you dont need to buy any.

ram id go for 3600 cl18 (if you can find it for a good price, idk what pricing is like in australia). Also power supply you could save some money and get a 750w unit, 850 is a little overkill.

You dont need a wifi card, It would look cleaner if you got a motherboard with wifi built in.

Also why not use the pc for graphic design, a desktop 5600x and 3060 would be alot faster than any macbook apple currently has available.

Don't pay so much for a windows key. Either use it for free with a watermark you can barely notice or buy from a reseller for $25.

AMD and NVIDIA are bad value for money right now, that's even worse in Australia.
