The cooler comes with thermal paste, just use that.

i heard cooler thermal paste wasn't very good when it was pre applied. I didn't know if i should buy something else aswell.

It's fine. The difference between the mediocre stuff and the good stuff is 2-3C. As long as the stuff you get isn't complete garbage I wouldn't bother getting something else. The extra $10 you'd spend on thermal paste would be better spend on a bigger cooler.

It's not pre-applied. The V5's paste comes in a syringe.
