CPU Overclocking on B660

Is it possible that i overclock a 12600k on other system with z690 motherboard. Then use that overclocked chip in my b660 motherboard, keeping in mind the stability of that b660 system?

Had us in the first half, not gonna lie

I mean, the first have of the question would work. Yes they could OC on a different Z690 board than their B660.

If overclocking settings are saved in motherboards and are non-transferrable, then why Overclocked GPUs are sold? They also are overclocked from a pc, right?
