Cooler Question

So I had a question about air coolers, I'm building a new computer to have through the summer and leave through the winter. If I left the air cooler in freezing Temps would it break, because it uses water to draw away heat

It'll be fine , there are no temps an air cooler would encounter that would be a problem for just the cooler and not every other object around it.

I believe gas filled heatpipes do not have enough material inside them to expand beyond the integrity of the pipe itself even when frozen

If the copper heatpipes are not nickel plated, they tend to change color due to oxidation in some humid cases. So you might end up with a corroded looking cooler, if that indeed happens to be the case.

Heat pipes don’t like the cold too much. -15-20c they don’t work so well.
