Cooling rack with Noctua NF-A14 PWMs

redespace

Hey guys,

I have a rack at home and would like to add cooling. There are several solutions out there, and the one that I might get is this one:

https://lanberg.pl/en/produkt/AK-1503-B

Based on the documentation, it shows an airflow of 46 CFM/per fan. I was wondering what if I use the Noctua's NF-A14 industrial ppc 24v 3000 q100  ip67 PWM. Those fans seem very powerful, but I have no idea how I would connect them to AC power from the rack. Is there a 1U fan tray solution in which I can mount my fans? I guess it has to have an AC/24V DC converter as well to power those fans.

Thank you in advance if anyone can point me in the right direction 🙂

Rack as in server rack or a router rack? Because for servers this is pointless and for routers it's just gonna cool the outer shell. Better to just supply some cool air or put a nice big fan in front of the rack.

It's a 12U, 19" server rack: https://www.bestbyte.hu/Fali/Legrand-EVO12U6060-19-12U-SZEL-600-MELY-600-MAG-626-halozati-faliszekreny-komplett-Evoline-p312856.html

The rack itself has some openings at the top and button, but airflow is not good, at temps inside the rack are getting high.

That's why I was wondering if I can use Noctua's fans to cool it...

The fix isn't to have fans push hot air around. The fix is to add more ventilation. I know these kinds of racks. I tend to circle drill holes in it.
