Posted July 5, 2022 I found this on Ali Express, seems too good to be true, has any one else purchased one? Will it be a scam.. can Linus buy one first to find out? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003416930565.html?_randl_currency=GBP&_randl_shipto=GB&src=google&aff_fcid=2a39ec22adb2485c920c4bc794e67d78-1657019480103-02428-UneMJZVf&aff_fsk=UneMJZVf&aff_platform=aaf&sk=UneMJZVf&aff_trace_key=2a39ec22adb2485c920c4bc794e67d78-1657019480103-02428-UneMJZVf&terminal_id=ae316faaaf9e4d4ba1cd9f50a9dc1f0c&afSmartRedirect=y
 Posted July 5, 2022 For the price it's likely fake. It will probably report the 2TB and show it as usable, but will likely start overwriting data or stop writing data after a certain point. From the page you linked Quote Note: This item is upgraded by 32 GB Pen Flash Drive to 2TB 32 GB = aproximadamente 28GB-30GB 32GB-2TB, the actual capacity is 32G, the computer displays 2TB, the detection is also 2TB, more than 32G things can be stored, but not displayed. This isn't how that works. If it was a 32G drive it's still a 32G drive. I however find it unlikely that it's even 32G.
 Posted July 5, 2022 Even if it is real, it probably contains a Trojan horse or worm that compromises your machine's security. Might even have ransomware that installs automatically on connection. If it sounds too good to be true, more often than not, it usually is.
