Setting up Fan Control for the first time.

Case                Be Quiet 500 DX

Motherboard    X570 AORUS ELITE

Processor        AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Cooler             Wraith Stealth

RAM                32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 CL16 4x8 (XMP Enabled)

GPU                MSI RTX 3070 Ventus 2x

I am setting up Fan Control for the first time and not 100% sure of everything.

i attached a screen shot of my Fan Config and a CSV of my HWInfo output.

Just wondering if the Fan curves are good, or should I be doing something different?

my next step for my system is to get a tower cooler to try to bring my CPU temps under control.

I'm a long time user of FanControl, which is absolutely great!

Problem with curves like 10 to 100% is that first you'll have lots of speed changes that are painful to the hear, and usually 100% is pretty noisy for not much

So I'd rather advise to

Min speed 30 or 40% everywhere

Curve starting only when the CPU or GPU is taxed so above 50c

Then use steps 60 75 90% at 60 70 80c

Thus you'll have much less speed and noise changes and a lesser noise cap 😁

System : AMD R9 5900X / Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO/ 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance 3600CL18 ASUS TUF Gaming AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition GPU/ Phanteks P600S case /  Eisbaer 280mm AIO (with 2xArctic P14 fans) / 2TB Crucial T500  NVme + 2TB WD SN850 NVme + 4TB Toshiba X300 HDD drives/ Corsair RM850x PSU/  Alienware AW3420DW 34" 120Hz 3440x1440p monitor / Logitech G915TKL keyboard (wireless) / Logitech G PRO X Superlight mouse / Audeze Maxwell headphones

So something more like this?

You could use "steps" so that the fans don't always change speed, like this
