Black border around the edge of my 2 Scepter 27in Edgeless Buisiness Pro monitors

While looking at memes and talking with some friends on discord my displays went black for a few seconds and an centemeter of black appeared at the right left and top edges of my 2 monitors. Friends said it sounds like the drivers for the graphics card (Nvidia 1070) updated them no luck, restarted the computer nothing changed. went into the Nvidia control panel and tried all the scaling and size settings nothing works. couldnt find a fix on google so trying here. Does anyone have a fix for this?

That looks like a physical border, part of the panel construction, my Gigabyte monitor has that, my Dell monitor doesn't. Is it possible you have just never noticed it before?

no it wasnt like that before it was at the edge of the plastic. I had to adjust the discord zoom level because after they came back on it was zoomed in closer than it was before also my task bar icons where larger as well
