Screws for GPU

airborne spoon

I am trying to RMA my srtix 5700xt to Asus but they say that it's missing screws and that is considered physical damage and therefore not a warranty item and want to sell me a remanufactured card for $500.

Obviously I'm not gonna stand for this so they said they'll send me back my card unrepaired and if I replace all the missing screws then it will not be physically damaged and will then qualify for warranty repair.

Clearly I don't have the screws anymore, the card has been water-cooled it's whole life and the screws just got lost the ones it has are some I had in my bag of random screws.

Does anyone know what size screws I need for the marked missing ones? Normally I'd just take it to home Depot and see what size fits but my local one only has a small screw bin so I'm gonna need to get screws from Amazon or something.

The 2 on the port side are prob the same as the other 4 next to them so those will be easy the rest I dono

Looks like the might be a M2 × 7mm or M2 x 9mm type screw, a bit hard to tell though,

Honestly I'd be really surprised if they honor the warranty even if you replace the screws. There are a lot of posts on here about Asus and their warranty support. The odds of you finding exact matching screws is slim (which shouldn't matter), I'm sure there are notes about this SN / card in their system now. It just seems odds are high they will deny it again for some reason or another.

I think I'd be prepared for a very up hill battle.
