Hello,

I am upgrading from a laptop that I had during university to something better. Currently I have 1 monitor and plan to buy the 2nd one with this PC. The plan is to upgrade now to a system that is not too expensive but where I will not have to worry about performance in like 1 year. Ideally I would like to keep the budget to ~2k USD but if there is a nice upgrade that is really worth I don't mind getting the upgraded version.

Currently the things I am not sure about are if the cooling is enough or if I have to get some case fans. The other one is the SSD which I feel like I may be overpaying for. The things that I definitely need is 32gb RAM, had 16 gb and it was not enough for my needs and the 2Tb storage space cant really downgrade those.

Consider this instead

It really doesn't make sense to go previous gen Intel unless your on a tight budget, but I don't think that's the case here.

On 12gen I usually don't recommend oc because the perfromance gain is minimal, but the 12900kf cheaper then the non (kf) by 5k so why not.

12900s are beefy chips so I'd recommend an aio to keep it cool

Cheapest kit of 32gigs of ram.

5000d airflow instead of 4000d so support the 360 rad on top mount

1000watt psu ~might be overkill but 750 was flying too close to the sun with a 10900k and a 3080. I'm also not sure how much power draw exactly the chip will need so I put it for safety along with 3000 series power spikes.

You can find pretty cheap win 10 keys online from resellers.
