In case anyone has this problem I did manage to fix it. I had to manually create a partition and reformat it in command prompt and the install finished without a problem.

I need help here. I've been bashing my head into a wall trying to get windows 10 to install on my Dell Precision 3420. I get through most of the initial installation when it throws up this error and stops the installation. I've tried various things like copying over the files and making the main drive the boot drive but this computer doesn't even recognize it. I'm at my wit's end on this issue.
