After a few month of use, my computer crashed (but sounds keep playing for a few sec after crash while screen is black) about 10 times every 2 weeks without bluescreen.

The crashes appear to happened after exiting a idle state, like redrawing UI. I never had a crash during gaming.

Tried both windows 10 and 11 (64bit). Thought that it could be the RAM, so I upgraded from a 16x2 kit to my current 32x2. Nothing seamed to help.

I replaced my GPU with a AMD R9 390, this fixed the issue but at the cost of performance. Sent my 3070 on repair but they said that they could not reproduce the issue.

Additionally, I have been getting some artifacts that does not hinder usage of the machine but gets very annoying as they are visible even while gaming. (see link to video) Restart did to fix this but restating, turning off power, and waiting 5 min usually fixed this.

One time I got this (see image), I taught the computer was going to crash but was still technically working.

Considering it is a 3070+5800X, maybe it is the power spikes that can cause issues on the 750W PSU?

This would probably also explain the AMD FX-390X working without issues since it has much lower power draw!

I think this video is great reference for this:

When do you have crashes?

When exiting a idle state, like using mouse in google chrome, pressing button in UI application, pressing keystroke to format code, and so on.
I think its primary happens when the UI is redrawn in applications that does not update every frame.

Turned out, it's the screen. setting it to 100Hz fixed the issue, but sometimes I get minimal visual temporary glitches.

Edit:
The screen rebooted or something causing the GPU to fail.
This would happen when going from idle to not idle because of a sudden minor voltage drop.
But the warranty has expired on the screen so I cant do anything.
