It depends since there can be a 10 frame difference between a budget 3080 ti and a high end one.

That leaves a high end 3080 very close to a budget 3080 ti.

This is what it looks like in one game with the same i9 9900k.

SOTTR  Highest Preset                           1080p     1440p        4k

Strix 3080 10gb OC(High end)                 167fps    144fps      87fps

EVGA XC3 Ultra 3080 ti(budget)              168fps    143fps      83fps

EVGA FTW3 Ultra 3080 ti(High end)        169fps    154fps      96fps

They are all bottlenecked at 1080p but at 1440p the High end 3080 ti pulls away.

With a more modern CPU like the 5800x the 1080p and 1440p will be higher but the 4k scores would be about the same.

They also have different core and boost clocks but those differences aren't that important, especially since they boost higher if they run cool enough and AIB cards often have modified clocks anyway. Other than that they are more or less the same on a technical level.

In gaming the 3080 12GB is a bit faster than the 3080 10GB. The 3080Ti is the fastest of those 3.
